Established in 1997, No.1 Family Estate is a boutique family-owned winery dedicated to crafting world-class Marlborough méthode traditionelle wines. Known in the industry as the "Grandfather of Méthode Traditionelle", Daniel Le Brun has steadfastly upheld the techniques he learned from his father in Champagne, passing on this family legacy to his children and winemaking team. Every bottle reflects the familys passion for quality and their deep connection to their land in the Wairau Valley in Marlborough.

Virginie Le Brun has been immersed in vineyards and winemaking from the age of 4 months, growing up surrounded by the family business. Now the estates Sales Director, she is the perfect ambassador for her family’s wines, bringing their story, heritage, and passion to life.
