
Meet the Maker - Huntress
On Sunday, September 14th, we'll be joined by Jannine Rickards, owner and winemaker at Huntress, for a hosted tasting of three wines.
Huntress Wines blends traditional winemaking with modern innovations, with fruit from the Wairarapa and Hawke’s Bay. Using wild yeasts and embracing techniques like skin fermentation and minimal filtration, Jannine crafts wines that speak of their origin and push the boundaries of conventional winemaking. Wines are handled with the lightest touch, allowing the quality fruit to shine through in every bottle.
$25 p/p for the wine, and an optional $25 for the snacks.

Coal Pit - tasting with Anika Willner
Anika Willner will be joining us for a hosted tasting of Coal Pit wines, with matching canapés from the Rosella kitchen.
Family owned, Coal Pit produces pinot noir and a small amount of sauvignon blanc from their certified organic vineyard and winery in Gibbston, Central Otago. The high elevation site has 7ha of plantings, and some of the oldest vines in Gibbston dating back to 1994.
This will be a seated tasting at communal tables, and we’ll be pouring a selection of five of Coal Pit's wines, including some special releases.

Meet the Maker - Marathon Downs
On Sunday, July 27th, we'll be joined by Jess and Nick, owners of Marathon Downs, for a hosted tasting of three wines.
Marathon Downs produces unique and expressive wine from their family farm in the Awatere Valley, Marlborough. Their wine is made with thoughtfullness and intent, and focuses on minimising input to tell a true story of vintage and place.

Meet the Maker - Amoise
On Sunday, June 1st, we'll be joined by Amy Farnsworth - owner and winemaker at Amoise, for a hosted tasting of three wines.
Amy produces low-intervention, organic wine from the Hawke’s Bay, notably from the famed Two Terraces vineyards. Her wine tells the story of the vintage, while being guided to bottle with light a hand as possible.

Meet the Maker - Wilco Lam, Oraterra
On Sunday, May 18th, we'll be joined by Wilco Lam - winemaker at Oraterra, for a hosted tasting of three wines.
Oraterra is the new project from the team previously known for their work with Dry River and On Giant’s Shoulders, producing stunning wines from vineyards chosen for their geology, personality and individuality. Oraterra wines are entirely grown on their vineyards in Martinborough: the McCreanor Block and La Belle Vie.

Meet the Maker - Nikki Kerruish, Folding Hill
On Sunday, April 13th, we'll be joined by Nikki Keruish, owner of Folding Hill, for a hosted tasting of three wines.
Folding Hill is a family-owned organic winery in the heart of Central Otago, producing the style of concentrated and complex pinot noir that Bendigo does so well, alongside a smaller production of chardonnay.

Akitu, with Wendee de Ryke
Wendee de Ryke will be joining us for a hosted tasting of Akitu wines, with matching canapés.
Family owned, Akitu produces exclusively pinot noir from their vineyards in the upper Clutha Basin.
This will be a seated tasting at communal tables, and we’ll be pouring at selected vintages of Akitu’s pinot noir collection.
